Auguztuz Elliott, Principle Broker

Auguztuz ElliottSome of Auguztuz Elliott’s earliest memories include visiting properties with his father, who, as the co-founder of Ryan Elliott & Co., was one of New England’s leading real estate entrepreneurs. From a young age, Auguztuz (called Guz by the locals) learned about lands and properties; about people and their personal and professional interests; and how to manage a business so both buyers and sellers receive the highest professional courtesies and personalized attention.

Later, as a young professional, Auguztuz was involved with real estate investments on Martha’s Vineyard, where, among other projects, he converted a five-bedroom summerhouse into a thriving twelve-bedroom Inn.

Now with a masters of education degree in management, Auguztuz has championed real estate business and responsible development along the Hamakua Coast through his client base and through private and public meetings with government officials. He has thoughtfully crafted multi-million dollar transactions and soothed the emotions of eager first-time homebuyers during his 16 years of living and working as a realtor along the coast.

“I loved the Hamakua Coast from the first time I saw it,” Guz says. “The green, the ocean, the quality of the light, the old style–almost western–architecture and the people. At the time I came, Hamakua sugar was still being harvested and life revolved around the sugar mill. Those days were punctuated by the sounds of the mill marking the midday break and the end of the workday with a loud whistle that could be heard for miles.”

His ultimate passion is to guide the Hamakua Coast toward sustainable development.

“I want to help steer the coast into a sustainable housing model that serves the future,” he says. “I want to have a small part in maintaining the beauty of the coast while helping people find their dream property.”

Alexander Hanzlik

Alexander Hanzlik Alexander Hanzlik has been living on the islands for over ten years.  He has spent many of those years living an alternative lifestyle incorporating the natural and organic ways of life possible in these rich islands.  His love for Hawaii and the Hawaiian culture has helped him develop his sensitivity for the islands and respect for the heritage of her native people.  This is especially significant for one who practices Real Estate as a trade in Hawaii, as the division and sale of Hawaiian land requires great sensitivity.  Alexander understands the point of view of the native Hawaiians as well as the inevitable expansion of the Western Culture.

Alexander first became involved in Real Estate through investments of income property.  He teamed up with an investment partner over two years ago and began an inspirational time of purchasing and renovating homes in the Puna area.

Throughout this time Alexander realized the benefits of obtaining a Real Estate license.  Gradually he became engaged in many projects and began a new career as a Real Estate Salesperson.  He has serviced many buyers and sellers and continues to serve those seeking property on the Big Island.

Alexander spends daily time in meditation and enjoys surfing as well as creating and recording progressive music.  The most important thing in his life is caring for and enjoying time with his wife and two children.  Alexander and his family currently reside in Honokaa.
